Abstarct: A study was conducted on the morphological and pomological diversity of cold-resistant plum genotypes in the Nishapur region of Iran during the years 2020 and 2021. Forty-one plum genotypes that exhibited productivity after spring frost were evaluated for 62 morphological, pomological, and phenological traits related to flower, fruit, and tree baxsed on the plum descxriptor. The results indicated that the highest variance was related to leaf blade length, while the lowest variance was associated with leaf length-to-width ratio. The highest coefficient of variation was attributed to fruit color (39.45%), and the lowest was related to lateral width-to-ventral width ratio (18.8%). Positive and significant correlations were observed between fruit length and leaf length, as well as between fruit weight and leaf blade length. The results indicated that some of these genotypes have acceptable pomological traits. Factor analysis revealed that fruit weight, fruit size, and leaf length played the most significant role in explaining variance in the first factor, accounting for 52% of the total variance. In the biplot analysis, genotypes were clustered into four main groups. Genotypes Kh.Da.S.02 and Kh.Da.Cv.04 were separated from the rest of the genotypes in the positive end of the second axis. Cluster analysis also placed genotypes Kh.Da.S.02 and Kh.Da.Cv.04 in a separate group far from other genotypes, while genotype Ha.Bokh.Cv.30 formed its distinct cluster. The remaining genotypes were classified into four main clusters in hierarchical clustering. The results of this study indicate the existence of cold-resistant plum genotypes with suitable environmental adaptation in the Nishapur region, exhibiting relatively acceptable diversity. These genotypes could be utilized for breeding and germplasm conservation purposes. .
